As a Business Development Manager you will
- Identify and capitalize new market opportunities with targeted prospecting
- Pro-actively reach out to potential clients and champion first meetings
- Compose quotations, negotiate commercial contracts and close new clients in close collaboration with our clinical team
- Build and maintain a network of prospects, leads and clients
- Work closely together with the Marketing and Clinical teams on events, lead generation and study start-up activities
- Represent TRACER at international conferences
Ideally, you fit the following profile
- You have a scientific background in preferably either Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, or pharmacy
- 2+ years work experience in the biotech/pharma service industry
- You understand what it takes to take a new drug from preclinical to clinical trials
- You have a commercial attitude and are result driven
- It is your nature to network and build relationships, both online and face-to-face
- Exceptional communication and intrapersonal skills
- You possess a high level of responsibility, influence and accountability
- You have analytical capabilities to define market potential and client selection
- You are creative in finding ways to push projects forward in the pipeline
- You are dedicated to continuous learning
- You speak, write, and read fluently in English and Dutch (must)
- Located in Nijmegen or surroundings
- Willingness to travel
Extra experience that would be useful
- Knowledge of radiolabeling and molecular imaging technologies
- A love for food and the good life
