At TRACER we strive to make the current drug development process faster, cost-effective and more efficient for everyone involved. As part of our growing efforts to change the drug development landscape, we are now looking for a Vice President Operations (VPO) to join our Management Team and accelerate (y-)our growth even further.
As a Vice President Operations you will play a pivotal role in bridging our strategic vision with operational realities. You will work closely with our founders and be responsible for the day-to-day operations leading TRACER’s operational development and growth.
As a VP Operations you will:
- Oversee daily operations of TRACER, ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance, and excellent service delivery across our clinical trials and partnerships.
- Be part of the Management Team to set and achieve long-term business goals, positioning TRACER as a leading provider of (imaging) clinical research services.
- Report to the founders of TRACER, the CEO and CBO.
- Convert company-wide business goals into operational infrastructure, including systems, processes, budget allocation and personnel to achieve strategic objectives.
- Build and organize a team of experts that thrive and succeed in a fast-paced R&D environment.
- Mentor team members by stimulating continuous learning, build meaningful relationships and encourage an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Develop and implement processes and new services to capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
- When required, represent TRACER at meetings with shareholders, clinical partners and pharmaceutical or biotech clients.
- Provide timely, accurate, and complete overviews on our operating condition to the shareholders and Management Team.
Ideally, you fit the following profile:
- Proven experience as an operations executive or in a senior operational leadership role in the Life Sciences Industry, preferably in a CRO, CDMO or a service provider alike.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of strategically growing a business and teams.
- You understand what it takes to take a new drug from preclinical to clinical trials.
- Exceptional organisational skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership with an eye for operational management and strategy.
- You actively engage team members to facilitate continuous improvements and growth.
- You possess the ability to take initiative and work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team.
- You possess a high level of responsibility, influence and accountability.
- You are able to solve upcoming problems, even in demanding situations that come with a growing organization.
- You are experienced in managing various stakeholders.
- Exceptional internal and external communication and intrapersonal skills.
- You are dedicated to continuous learning.
- You speak, write, and read fluently Dutch and English.
- Preferably you live in the middle of the country like Zwolle to be closer to our offices in Groningen and Nijmegen.
- Willingness to travel, within and from time to time outside of the Netherlands.
Extra experience that would be useful:
- Knowledge of labelling and/or molecular imaging techniques.
- Work experience with regulatory guidelines for clinical trials.
